HAPPY EASTER!!!!

HAPPY EASTER!!! Hope everyone had a beautiful Easter weekend! We were blessed to spend it with so many family and friends!! The weather was a bit chilly but beautiful, sunny skies:)

Bella's Playgroup had an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday-it was a blast!!! Bella got to experiene her first juice box with a big girl straw and now she is an addict:) Jessfern (Mama's cousin) is helping her out.

Hang on, gotta make sure I didn't miss any eggs LOL We separated the "big kid" eggs and the baby eggs-Bella and her friend, Anna, were the only big kids so they got to totally monopolize:) Bella ended up overflowing her "Pon Bob" basket AND her jacket so she decided to hunt some more eggs and put them in Anna's basket:)

Sunday we went to church with Gramma and then went to visit with Mema. Bella found a random Easter shovel to play with:)

BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!

Today was absolutely gorgeous outside!! After going for a walk and playing/swinging in the front yard, Bella decided to help us water the "plants" on the back deck. They are basically the leftovers from last year's cheap pretties from WalMart but will most likely be used for tomatoes this year.

She is mesmerized by water!!! She loves bathtime, loves to brush her teeth and rinse her brush (and yes, spit like a lady LOL), and play with water any chance she gets.

My new FAVORITE picture!!! She is absolutely in love with her Daddy (and visa versa) and loves to imitate everything he does (no pressure Daddy LOL). She always looks up to him with the biggest eyes and just soaks it all up.

Her new favorite non-water activity is drawing. She did a really awesome job coloring her shamrock at school for St. Patty's and is starting to realize the whole "stay in the lines" concept.

Spring and Summer are gonna be so much fun with her this year. She is all over the place and absolutely LOVES being outside. On the days it is rainy, she just stands at the window and moans LOL She loves birds too-anytime she hears one singing she gets excited. When we are in her bedroom in the morning she will say "tweets" whenever she hears a bird:) I wish my Nana were here to see all of this-she loved watching Bella grow and is like me-could just watch her do her thing all day long and my heart just smiles so full. But I know she is watching and gets so much joy out of seeing her little Petunia grow. I still tell her "Sweet Dreams with GiGi" every night at bedtime:)

Spring Swinging!!!

We had some awesome weather this weekend and Bella was SOOOOO happy to be outside again!! She was jumping up and down when Daddy put her swing back up in the tree:) Bummer-looks like she definitely has allergies:( Everytime we took her outside, her eyes would run so much it looked like she was bawling and her nose just went crazy. PLUS she is getting her bottom molars AND canine teeth in so she isn't feeling like sunshiney Bella.

We traveled to Uncle Aaron's house (near Batesville) this weekend for his birthday. Bella had a blast playing with her guys (Uncle Popeye and Pop) outside and chasing Blondie around.

Bella left our house on Saturday morning with a CLEAR runny nose and woke up Monday morning with a nasty cough and disgusting gunky nose and fever. This is what the beauty queen looks like when she feels pitiful.

Poor lil fever eyes and red nose. Ignore the dinner crust-we were thrilled she was eating!! And yes, she HAD to wear Daddy's necklace on her head (you don't see the purple shoes that are 2 sizes too big-again, HAD to wear them LOL)

I swear, no drugs had entered this child's system during the taking of this picture!!! (wait 30 minutes LOL) Poor missy has a lil 'tude even when she is sick LOL
